ABOUT KANTOLOGOS

In the early days of the 2020 COVID Pandemic, Professor Carol Kauffman, Founder of the Institute of Coaching (IOC, Harvard Medical School Affiliate) started weekly virtual huddles amongst Fellows of the IOC. These huddles served as a forum for leading executive coaches around the world to stay connected and share observations and ideas on how leaders were responding to the crisis.

Prof. Kauffman challenged the group for fresh insights or approaches to coaching executives. Inspired by our colleagues at the IOC and Prof. Kauffman, the six authors of this book (all Fellows of IOC) came together. We named ourselves “The Kantologos”. Carol is Latin for song. Esperanto for song is “Kanto”.  Logos is Greek for logic. Thus, we decided to call ourselves, “The Song of Logic”.

The Kantologos are:

  • Beth Masterman
  • Maribel Aleman
  • Douglas Choo
  • Fernando Morais
  • John Lazar
  • Rolf Pfeiffer
